It’s a real privilege to present to you the brand new, redesigned cover for The Lost War by Justin Lee Anderson.
This is the first book in Justin’s Eidyn fantasy trilogy with book two, The Insurgent King scheduled for release next year.
It was only the third book I reviewed as a blogger late last year and remains one of my firm favourites – check out my review here (a little less polished but I think my passion shines through) and the synopsis below, followed by the brand new cover! I think you’ll agree the cover is very striking and as someone familiar with the book, it represents the story excellently and I think gives the series a clear identity when it comes to that all important cover. I’ll leave you to it!
Synopsis
The war is over, but something is rotten in the state of Eidyn.

As you can see the cover is so bold, striking and I think sums up the themes of dark fantasy, magic and mystery which feature in this brilliant book.
About the author
Justin spent 15 years as a professional writer and editor before his debut novel, Carpet Diem, was published in 2015. It became a best-seller and won a 2018 Audie award. Since 2018 he has been writing full time, alongside working on scripts with his wife, Juliet, who he met through a BBC scriptwriting contest.
They live just outside his hometown of Edinburgh with their Brady Bunch family of five kids.
He published The Lost War last year and has book two, The Insurgent King due for a Summer 2021 release, aswell as a follow up to Carpet Diem, I don’t like Mundanes in the works for the future.
